    • There is a book on that phenomenon, it is titled (more or less ..) ‘Dogs that know when their owner is coming home’. My husband used to say that my own Scottie got ready in the front entrance before I arrived from work, but it could have been that he knew the time of day. You are now verifying that behaviour. According to the book the dogs are tied to their owner by some kind of sixth ( or seventh …) sense, in some kind of telepathic field that makes them aware of their beloved movements at a distance. My alpha Scottie knew when I intended to take him to work with me – even though he was outside and I inside mulling over my day. It was not because I was getting dressed for work. He only got excited when I had been THINKING to take him. Amazing things with animals…

    • Jetzt habe ich 2,5 Wochen nur darauf gewartet, daß die harte, schier endloslange Schicht im Klinikum ein Ende findet. Jetzt warte ich auf den Abflug nach Cley …

    • Vielleicht kommt der Stern nächste Woche oder erst zu Weihnachten. Ich fahre in Reha und da soll er nicht im Carport auf mich warten. Vor allem auf das Kennzeichen warte ich wie dolle, es ist ein spirituelles. Nix mehr verrate ich, warte du auf meine Überraschung ♥

    zuerst fällt auf: Ein neues Theme! Sehr hübsch gewählt, gefällt mir. Das “neue Kleid” steht dir :).

    Dann hab ich mich gefragt, ob Warten für dich ein Thema ist, weil es darum geht, jetzt wieder komprimiert vom Job in Anspruch genommen zu sein und zu warten, wann du wieder nach Cley kannst? Wo Urlaub ist, entspannen und Liebe?

    Und als drittes ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Hund eine Marke trägt, auf der etwas eingraviert ist. Und das ist eins der Dinge, die ich in meinem Job mache: Hundemarken gravieren. Allerdings wäre die Gravur von mir mit Farbe gefüllt worden, aber vielleicht wollte der Hundebesitzer hier das nicht.

    Wie auch immer, ich wünsche dir Raum für dich selbst zwischen dem Job, zur Ruhe kommen, zu dir kommen.

    • Ich dachte, da sei ein Name drauf graviert.

      Die von mir angefertigten beinhalten meistens auf der Vorderseite den Namen des Hundes und auf der Rückseite die Telefon-Nummer des Besitzers für den Fall des Ausbüchsens.

    • Nee, es ist nicht mein Hund, ich habe einen Golden Retriever. Dieser Hund habe ich letztes jahr in Leiden, Holland aufgenommen. Das erklärt vielleicht warum die Marke anders aussieht als bei uns in Deutschland?

    • Moment … also für die Bundesstadt Bonn gilt für die Steuerperiode 2013-2015 die Farbe Grasgrün. 130,-€ kostet das Ding – so eine Sauerei! 🙂

    • Geht aber auch nach Größe (oder irre ich mich) und da dürfte ein ein Golden Retriever unter große Hunde fallen. (Ich hatte überings vermutlich einen Retriever / Terrier – Mix, evtl. haben sich auch schin die Großeltern über die Rassegrenzen geliebt, ka.) Meine Nachbarn haben einen Listenhund und müssen 600 Euro / Jahr zahlen! Er ist ein netter Hund, der mich wie alle ihre Hunde freudig begrüßt, aber von schön weit entfernt. Frag mich nicht, was einen beflügelt, einen solchen Hund zu kaufen.

      das mit den Steuermarken scheint in der Schweiz (teilweise?) abgeschafft: http://www.berikon.ch/VerwaltungE-GOVERNMENT/Abteilungen/ZentraleDienste/Hundemarken/Hundemarken.html
      Das mag je nach Kanton anders gehandhabt werden.

      Gravieren ist meine Hauptaufgabe in meinem Job, was auch immer anfällt. Meistens sind es Namensschilder für Häuser, aber Hundemarken werden auch ab und zu gewünscht. Zuletzt war es ein Metallplättchen in Form eines Hundeknochens in rot, das ich graviert habe. Ist hübsch geworden 🙂

    • Oh, it’s OK …but now my husband wants to take away all trees we have in our garden because of what happened. I cry..I’m a hopeless case concerning trees. I love them.Our house and garden will look terrible without them. I seem unable to talk him out of this folly….

  21. For this reason I never put my children off with the phrase, “in a minute”… and I always had at least two dogs so they weren’t lonely when they were waiting!

  25. Mir geht es wie Clanmother, Dina, ich mag dein neues Blogdesign auch.
    Es ist einfach und bringt deine Beiträge besser zur Geltung!
    Das Foto ist fantastisch! Oft komme ich mir auch so vor!
    In einer Inzenierung in der Staatsoper von Madam Butterfly, es ist bestimmt 25 Jahre her, hat der Regisseur sie mit diesem Blick vor einem Fenster gestellt als sie auf ihren Seemann wartete. Es ist für mich seither der Inbegriff des sehnsüchtigen Wartens. Ich sehe den Blick in den goßen Augen des Hundes.

      es freut mich, dass du das neue Blogdesign gut findest. Es ist schlicht und einfach und es verändert sehr viel, auch weil die Navigation am Ende der Seite ist und nicht alle Infos gleich ins Auge springen. Somit wird sich wahrscheinlich auch meine Art zu Bloggen sich leicht verändern. We’ll see! 🙂
      Das Bild vom Hund habe ich in Leiden, Holland aufgenommen. Kennst du Leiden? Eins der schönsten Städte in NL, finde ich.
      Meine Arbeit habe ich jetzt endlich – HURRA! – hinter mir gebracht, wenigstens bis Monatsende, fast. Siri, Selma und ich packen gerade für Cley! 🙂

    • Thank you, Paula. Being in the inbetween with the two themes, I miss the header myself. I have tried a few things but so far it looks like a bad compromise and I prefer to give the image the space it would chew. As soon as I have a few hours (soon 🙂 ) I’ll give it more attention.

  29. der Satz hat mich berührt und auch traurig gemacht: habe zu lange gewartet und dadurch das Wertvollste verloren.
    Es ist zwar schon 2,5 Jahre her, aber der Schmerz ist immernoch gleich…
    Nun warte ich wieder..darauf dass ich einen neuen besten Freund des Menschen zu mir holen kann…

Wo wurde der Hund eigentlich fotografiert? Für den Hund mag die Weile wirklich eine Ewigkeit gewesen sein, aber er wird geduldig warten …

    • Oh dear, you got me there! I looked up Harrier and all I saw was the Fighting Jet from Royal Air Force …
      I must admit, I don’t know. It looks similar to a Harrier, another reader recognized the dog a beagle. Anyhow, 2 years ago I saw this dog sitting behind a window in a beautiful house in Leiden, NL and big dog lover me has carried him with me all the time waiting for an opportunity to show him to you.

But the fact I never have enough time postoponed my wish…yes, It might focus more on Photography than writing, and your former apperance was somehow …more light, and let the text content breath…here you have to fix some details and it will be absolutely perfect for presenting your inspiring photography!

      if I had known what I got myself into, I probably would have dropped it. 🙂 It’s time consuming and I don’t really have the time at the moment. But now it’s there and I have to do it slowly, whenever I have time. Yes, there are some corrections to so, not that easy, but I’ll manage. It’s like a metaphor for my life really. I’m not afraid to try something new even if I can’t see all the problems connected. Thanks a lot for your encouragement and support!

Klikk pä tittelen, da äpner den seg med mer bilder og kommentarfunksjon pä bunnen. De fösrte dagene var jeg en smule skeptisk, men nä er jeg begeistret. Det er fortsatt my arbeide med ä oppjustere eldre artikler.
