Our dear friend Konrad Lenz persuaded Dina to post her photos on Instagram. Yesterday she finally activated her account and we hope you like her presentations. And our Master, Klausbernd Vollmar, as the Magus in todays photo! 🙂

  6. All good wishes for Dina on her new platform. Not having a camera phone, I’ve never engaged with Instagram, but there are millions who do, and I’m sure she’ll find an appreciative audience. I had to smile at the opening line from the quotation. “You wish to be liked” has a different resonance in today’s Facebook/Instagram environment. But the photo is marvelous: strong, humorous, and just edgy enough to cause a second, sideways glance.

    • Thanks for your commentary. Dina and Selma really like presenting their pictures on a second platform. They find it an interesting challange. Siri and Klausbernd are just helping.
      We had to laugh reading your commentary. “You wished to be liked” that’s what facebook and instagram is all about and those mostly horrible selfies. But thanks a lot for liking Dina’s photo 🙂 🙂

    schon gesehen und schon subscribiert, den Account! Soll ich mal sagen, “Es wurde aber auch Zeit!”? Im Ernst: diese Fotos sind es wirklich wert, einer breiteren Oeffentlichkeit gezeigt zu werden. Wie waer’s, die Fotos auch jedesmal bei Twitter zu posten? Kann man ja direkt aus Instagram heraus machen.

      Jetzt fahren wir erst einmal in Urlaub in den höchsten Norden Schottlands. Da wird’s wohl viele neue Bilder geben.
      Wir wissen gar nicht, ob Dina ein Twitter-Account hat. Masterchen und Siri sind solchen Sachen eher abhold, nix facebook und andren Kram. Aber sie machen ja keine Bilder.

    • Guten Morgen, lieber Konrad,
      wir besitzen leider nicht solch einen tollen Tisch. Das Foto machte Dina im Museum Morsbroich nahe der holländischen Grenze auf unserem Weg nach Hause Ende letzten Jahres. Und nun ist Masterchen verdammt, Dinas Modell zu sein. Aber jetzt geht’s erst einmal zum nördlichen Ende der Insel. Da wird’s sicher viele Bilder geben.

      für uns ist die Instagram-Plattform ja auch noch etwas völlig Neues. Aber es macht bereits unserer lieben Dina und Selmachen VIEL Spaß. Es ist ja auch kein Entweder-Oder. Darauf achten schon Masterchen und Sirilein, dass fein weiter gebloggt wird.

  19. What a great dramatic portrait KB. Looks like something frozen in time! (Not you of course). I don’t have an Instagram account so can’t follow Dina there, but I am sure she will get loads of people who will as her photography is beautiful and gets better and better. Love to you all and I hope you are enjoying our delightful spring in Cley 😀 The bookfayries must surely have new Easter (bluebell) bonnets and skipped around the Maypole by now in their daisy dresses…

      we are Instagram-Greenhorns, we just started our account yesterday. We are sure that Dina will get lots and lots of followers there. We think she has become quite ambitious.
      KB is now Dina’s model, he and Nigel. Actually quite hard work, even for narcissists 😉

      you wouldn’t believe it but we got bluebell bonnets, we love very, very much as we love the bluebell-fields in the woods and this romantic colour blue. And Dina and KB bought us both such great daisy dresses we don’t want to get them off – except in our beds. We are looking like little fairy princesses in those dresses, well, we are princesses!

    • oh dear, yes. But you wouldn’t believe it, Selma invented an anti-dust-fairy-spray (ADFS) that makes the dust avoid us. But it only works on little fairy princesses. The disadvantage: We can’t send fairy dust when sprayed with ADFS.

      thanks a lot for liking our post. Well, KB is now Dina’s new model – even if he doesn’t know it yet. He gave the hint fo the title and quote. So we all work together harmoniously. And we don’t need people who need to be liked either. – But a little bit, just a tinyweeny bit, we like to be liked, but that’s our big secret, don’t tell anyone!

    Habe Postkarten für euren Annexe drucken lassen bei Wiedmann in Maxdorf, die sind kuhl, mir ist allerdings aufgefallen, dass ihr vergessen habt drauf zu schreiben, dass ihr nur nette Gäste wünscht….könnte ich natürliche für euch erledigen und nur netten Menschen den Flyer geben, Mist..grübel

      habe herzlichen Dank für das Druckenlassen der Werbung für unsere Ferienwohnung. Gaaaanz prima! 🙂 🙂
      Also der Tisch ist aus dickem Blech und was auf dem Tisch liegt, liegt eigentlich nicht auf ihm, sondern ist aus ihm herausgearbeitet. Der Unterbau ist aus Ziegel gemauert. Wie gesagt, es ist ein Museumstück, beeindruckend – auch ohne Magier 😉
      Wir sind voll bei unseren Abfahrtsvorbereitungen und haben auch einen lieben Menschen gefunden, der in der Zeit bei uns wohnt und sich um Garten, Blumen und Post kümmert, den ich nachher noch einweisen muss.

    dann – zuallererst – schon einmal ganz viel Spass im Urlaub und gute Erholung. Auf die kommenden Bilder freue ich mich schon sehr.
    Dina hat tatsaechlich einen Twitter Account, und ein Bild hat sie auch schon hochgeladen. Facebook waere natuerlich auch etwas. Ich selber bin allerings kein Facebook-Fan, und da auch nicht vertreten. Aber ganz im ERnst: Dinas Fotos sind so exzellent, die muessen einfach mehr publik gemacht werden.

      und was für ein schöner Morgen!
      Hab herzlichen Dank für die tollen Wünsche. Ach ja, da bin ich mir sicher, dass wir viel Spaß haben werden, dafür sorgen schon Siri und Selma.
      Naja, mit all diesen Accounts ist das ja sehr zeitaufwändig. Es ist schwierig zu entscheiden: Auf der einen Seite ist ja viel wichtiger, was außerhalb des Virtuellen stattfindet wie der Garten, Lesen, Lieben und Müßiggang. Auf der anderen Seite wird frau nur berühmt, wenn ihre Bilder überall zu sehen sind. Dann wird sie vielleicht auch das Geld damit machen, das sie ausgibt, um ihre Fotografie zu finanzieren 😉
      Anyway, Dina wird sicher noch etwas dazu schreiben. Das waren nur meine lästerliche Gedanken.

    • Lieber Klausbernd,
      es stimmt schon, dass so viel Accounts zeitaufwendig werden koennen – jedenfalls wenn sie in Dialoge “ausarten”. Aber nur Bilder zu veroeffentlichen ist kein Problem. WordPress hat dafuer ja einen Button, den Ihr auch auf Dinas Blog habt. Das stellt zwar einen Link zum gesamten Artikel bei Twtter ein, aber so sind ja auch die Bilder zugaenglich. Und ein Link auf Eure exzellenten Artikel ist ja auch ein “Muss”. Ansonsten: es ist ja auch kein Problem und wirklich nicht zeitaufwendig, Bilder direkt vom Computer aus bei Twitter und Instagram einzustellen. Ich mache das uebrigens, da ich viele Biklder mittlerweile mit meinem Smartphone aufnehme, dann direkt von da per App.
      Apropos Twitter: Dina und Dich habe ich dort mittlerweile gefunden und (ver)folge Euch. Du siehst: Ihr werdet mich nicht los. 😉 Und was Instagram angeht: Dina und ich folgen uns da ja gegenseitig.
      Ich wuensche Dina jedenfalls, dass Ihre Bilder einem weiten Kreis bekannt werden und dass sie auch damit einmal etwas Geld verdienen kann. Seit ich mir drei meiner Fotos hier in groesserem Format habe ausdrucken lassen und dann ganz aehnliche – in einem Supermarkt an einer Raststaette uebrigens – zum Kauf angeboten sah, spiele ich auch mit dem Gedanken.
      So, das waren dann meine laesterlichen Gedanken.
      Liebe Gruesse, auch an die restlichen 3/4 der Fab Four, und auch von Mary, und noch einmal einen schoenen Urlaub in Schottland,
